Daniel Green

Co-founder of Green Private Capital and founder of Green Finance Group. One of Australia's most awarded commercial finance specialists, with over 30 years of banking and finance experience across hospitality, property and commercial lending.

Daniel established Green Finance Group in 2010, having spent the preceding years in senior management roles at some of Australia's leading financial institutions — including Commonwealth Bank, Suncorp, Bankwest and Westpac. In previous banking roles he was directly involved in shaping lending policy for the hospitality sector, giving him a level of sector knowledge that most lenders simply can't match.

Over more than three decades in banking and commercial finance, Daniel has built an extensive network of industry relationships and a track record of securing competitive, timely finance for businesses across hospitality, accommodation, childcare, property and commercial sectors. He has also owned and operated businesses within his areas of expertise — including pubs and childcare centres — giving him a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the borrowers GPC backs.

As co-founder of GPC, Daniel brings that depth of experience to bear on the firm's deal origination, credit strategy and borrower relationships. His understanding of the commercial sector — and his relationships across the broader banking and finance industry — is central to how GPC sources opportunities, structures deals and facilitates exits back to bank.
